I must've gotten the wrong copy. It almost follows a linear* plot and Mr. St. Elmo would never do that, right?

* A line doesn't have to be straight, though. A curve, zig-zag, spiral, those are all lines, as long as they're continuous and have two ends, right? And it has a beginning and, I assume, an end.
