Ouch. My edition has two volumes (books 1-3 and 4-7, respectively) and they are rather, em, voluminous. I finished the first in which Casanova relates his early development as a compulsive seducer, gambler and rapist, followed by his extrajudicial imprisonment and heroic escape. On towards the next 1000 pages!
