So far, Death's End has the best opening of the three books in the series. The action is already starting. I don't know if the period between part 1 and part 2 is detailed later in the book, but I hope so.

Pausing to read another (ARC) book.

So far, this book is a bit of a slot. Almost ready to put it aside for now.
