Stop. Imagine. Feel the second. Inhale and exhale for 10 seconds, tape your thoughts as they come. Only simple words. Then go back: make sentences out of them, or paintings, sing them if you like. Give them faces. Comparables, metaphors. Feel them. Dig. Deeper. Reflect. Rewrite. Repeat. Ask yourself why. Why did you nurse those babies?
