In the last chapter, Ella (the main character for this book) suffered a great loss. Her mother, Eleanor, died from a sickness. I feeling so sorry for Ella but this book is based on Cinderella (you can see Ella's name in there) and Cinderella's mother had died. At Eleanor's funeral she meet who I believe is Prince Charming, Prince Charmont (aka Char)The story is going faster than I expected.

Ella escapes school and is heading off to go to a giant's wedding to find Lucinda the fairy to force Lucinda to break her gift, to be obedient. She goes through an elf village(where she makes friends with a lot of elves). After she leaves the elf village, she is soon captured by ogres(in this world, ogres are not stupid but quite intelligent and can convince you to do anything).
