Picking up right from last ish, Storm is trying to keep Proteus at bay with a hurricane! Luckily, Moira comes to the rescue (while also trying to kill her son 😳) We're introduced to Joe MacTaggert, Proteus’ father and Moira’s husband (not a great guy!) All those little hints at Phoenix's powers were so cool! They’ve built Proteus up quite a bit so I’m curious how in the world they're gonna defeat him!

The X-Men are facing their greatest foe yet but how can they defeat one so powerful? I liked the fact that it wasn’t Jean who stopped Proteus, although she was the only one that had really ‘wounded' him before his ultimate defeat. What I didn't like was that in the span of these four issues, there were continuity errors that left me with many questions!

X-Men Issue #125: This issue references a story line that I didn’t read so it was a little confusing at first but a new story unfolds when Moira discovers something about Phoenix’s powers. Plus something is happening on Muir Island, will the X-Men make it in time to save their friends?
