My impression of God at this point is not at all positive. What a selfish character! He hardened Pharaoh's heart just so that he could kill the people of Egypt to prove his power. I don't have respect for anyone who doesn't earn respect by giving respect. Forcing people to respect you out of fear is detestable. How can people love such a selfish god?
