Having to pause this book and pick something else up. Nothing to do with Vern or his journey, I just don’t feel quite right in myself and I don’t want that to leach into the story.
Do you ever have that? Where you worry your mood will impact the characters like you’re coexisting?

Loved that chapter. I’m so reading Vern as having David Harbour’s voice.

I feel as if I’m sucked into the world while I’m reading so even though I feel like I should have gotten through a lot, I really haven’t.

2 chapters in and it’s unlike anything I’ve ever read. Colfer’s writing for me is the love child of Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaiman.
I struggled with the changing perspectives at first but it’s just beautiful.
It’s as if I’ve gone from watching Joe Mazzello in Jurassic Park, to him in Undrafted. I love it x
