When describing a trans person, regardless of their age, their current pronouns should be used. Unfortunately, this book is describing the plot of a movie where a young child who was born male wishes she was a girl, but uses he/him pronouns to describe the child.

I wish I could say this book had improved since the outdated definitions in the first chapter.
