I know what-if fanfic-type stories can take a bit to get set up so I try to give them some leeway. But we are nearing the point where I have no more left to give. It all feels so forced! Mr. Darcy tearing up and talking out loud about Georgiana at the first assembly and then deciding to spill EVERYTHING to Elizabeth right after meeting her - and in great detail, too. I’m just not buying in.
