Umm... why do I feel this book has a thing against Mexicans? Frank Li doesn’t bother to translate Fiesta Hoy Market because it’s a “stupid” name. It translates to Party Today and it’s obviously a store name to attract Mexican customers in a Mexican neighborhood. Lots of Mexican supermarkets in California with names like “Mi Pueblo” “Rancho Market” and “Fiesta Mexicana”. And none are stupid.
