The book is a direct connection to Pala India and Nalanda through the medium of the medieval book. This is an excellent study. The recent publication of Sanskrit books from Tibet adds to this seminal English study. The story of Indian Buddhism is a wonderous one. Great appreciation to Kim for her study.
