What the hell happened? Did the author run out of plot? This was chunnering along quite pleasantly then all of a sudden we have the assault by the husband on his naked wife and later on her forces himself on her.

The characters from that point on bore NO resemblance to the ones earlier on. This was a travesty. What the author (and the publisher were thinking when they wrote/edited this ungodly mess, is utterly beyond me.
