the book ends off with finding out that roses mom was pregnant but she sadly had a miscarriage in the water one summer and that's why she doesn't like going into the water now but her mom saved jenny because she tried to drown herself and at the end of the book was where they all go back home and it the end of the summer

so far in the book there's has been drama between duncan and jenny two other characters in the book and the main character rose might have a crush on duncan but he is way older than her so she pushes her feelings away but jenny got pregnant and her and duncan are not talking to each other about. and roses parents are also fighting to where they are not talking to. rose and windy also are fighting too so yea.
