10/14 Joshua scans through his dad's email account after his dad supposedly died. Joshua is scanning for anything that could mean he is alive. Soon he finds emails from Carlos Montoyo that told his dad there is a lost Mayan book that his dad could find. So Joshua comes up with an idea his dad was killed because he found the Mayan book. But Joshua is still hopeful that his dad is alive and he faked his death.

In Invisible City Joshua finds out that the Mexican government believes that Joshua's dad died in a plane crash. However, Joshua does not believe that his dad died. I believe Joshua is in denial one of the stages of grief. Which many people struggle from in the world.
