Biggest gripe so far - Susan. 10 year old with a mentality of a 5 y/o. I don't know what author's experience with 10 y/olds is like but by 10 kids will spin circles around the adults. Susan on the other hand seem to have a limited vocabulary, emotional development and knowledge base of a home-schooled Amish. Sigh. One day I'll find a fictional kid I like.
