It's a little slow, but extremely enjoyable thus far. The stories she relays themselves as well as the passion for what she does make the book. Leaky's writing style reminds me of my grandmother telling me stories about her life, a little dry at times but also captivating. It's interesting to read about such a different time period than my own through the thoughts of someone who lived through it.
