this book is not what you have expected of it is very confusing at the end of the story. This book is one of the best books i have ever read and i would suggest this book to other people.

Scythe Faraday has killed himself to save Ciara and Rowan so they don't have to kill each other. Rowan has gone with the god of massacre and now became his apprentice and Ciara has wnet with a Scythe who killed the president and his cabinet and now they meet up at a conclave.
