"revenge through female relative" trope, but the author handled that SO WELL. I love that Genevieve realized his plan so early on and that because of that their romantic scenes were something they both consented to with their eyes truly open. I also think Harry lied to Genevieve to see if she got jealous and he could find out if she had feelings for him, which, if it's the case, he can go burn on a pyre.

I find it so funny that he's all "I'm gonna seduce the girl muahahahha" and she like does not care at all and tries to send him to her sister and is like... yeah dude meh. I like how that will humble him and also give them time to know each other better before anything romantic actually happens. Also, their subtle banter is really really good.
