So I see Kindle prices nearing $15 now, with some even as much as $20. I guess my reading days are over, because those prices are just too much for an electronic file, that has none of the costs of printing and shipping.
And to be honest, the quality of storytelling is not keeping pace.
Some of the best books I've read were under $5, so I will be on the hunt for those. *personal opinion, ofcourse*

Try Scribd.com. Unlimited ereads for under $10/mo. It has a really decent catalogue of lesfic. I agree that those prices per book are outrageous.

I mean, publishers and authors need to get paid, I understand that. But look at Crier's War on Amazon. $11.13 for the Kindle edition, and $12.99 for the hardcover edition. How does that make sense? I wonder what the percentages are that authors get from a sale.
