I really appreciate the character growth, combined with the challenge of not having a proper wand. And this chapter (19) shows how ingenious and inventive she can be. She’s not a perfect character and that is very interesting.

Ch. 35. Alexandra will be Alexandra. An interesting solution that might lead to more problems later. Maybe more solutions later. It would be so interesting to read a prequel with a few of the original decisions that Alexandra is undoing now.

I'm happy Alexandra has grown so much. She's still angry at the drop of a button, something that I can't identify with at all, but hey, it's how she is. Finally she seems to get some more understanding of how she works (ch. 14) and actually seems to want to learn to handle her emotions better. Go Alexandra!
