Literally wanting to scream into my phone as I'm reading Tony Campolo's closing chapter of his haphazard critique of non-theism. His continued use of the label "secularists" gives it an additional cringe worthy Ken Ham-ish flavor. By contrasting atheism with a Campolo's brand of Evangelical-ish mystic christianity, the book seems to create a false choice for the reader, as if those are the only two options. 3 stars?

I like the authors taking turns from chapter to chapter, but it would be better if this modeled a flowing conversation. Instead each chapter jumps between topics with little order. Bart Campolo's father Tony seems to have very little experience engaging with skeptical criticism beyond the young college students he frequently references, and both seem to take a milquetoast attitude toward religious trauma.
