Rereading my favorite series! I’m in love with the way Patrick Ness explores the consciousness of men in the situation that they can’t control their thoughts and what would happen if there really was a town of only men. Knowing what I know now about how the book ends, “becoming a man” involves a violent act that twists their empathy into nothing. I just love the way he explores human nature. Idk, just love
