Summary: China-Wait until it slips and commits and act against humanity. Economy-rebuild infrastructure, but raise taxes on wealthy. Healthcare-find a way where people don’t abuse the system. Immigration- no border wall, but do not let any danger in the country. Military-Hire more computer geeks. Terrorism- Keep a base in the Middle East. Environment-I’m sorry, but climate change is very real and a threat

Gun Control: How about an analogy using inflation. It’s common sense that if you make something easier to do, a person will be more inclined to do it. When you lower the price of a steak, a person will be more inclined to eat a steak for dinner. Using the same logic, we have to make it more difficult to get a gun. And, the argument that it takes a good guy with a gun to shoot the bad guy is never true.

I think I might have to quit reading. This doctor turned chemical engineer has obviously never heard of global warming or even try to explain it. He is so sure that climate change is a hoax that we ought to keep a copy of this book for people 5000 years from now to have a really good laugh at the stupidity of this author.

Okay. One thing I can agree and one thing I can’t agree. Agreement: We need to stop giving the Army conventional equipment it doesn’t want or need. Instead of providing more tanks, let’s hire more computer geeks and techies to fight the cyber war. Disagreement: The author says to kill ISIS and get the hell out of the Middle East. If we don’t want terrorism, we need military bases in the Middle East.

WOW! Obama fired one third of all military officers above the rank of Colonel. There are around 600 combined with more in the Army and the Air Force. Obama fired 200 of them. Something doesn’t sound right about that?

The last 30 pages hardly contained one thing where I was in agreement. Central America has a higher rate of inoculation than the US. Johns Hopkins did research showing that fear of diseases from immigrants is overinflated. There is not enough return on investment for building a border wall. Sanctuary cities have probably found a way to give these immigrants a job and hope for citizenship.

I’m a Democrat, but I like 3 things said: it’s okay to increase debt for infrastructure, we can cut the budget by slashing government workers, and (health care) how do you know when someone makes 4 visits to the doctor in one week, they were all necessary??

The author just tried to simplify the corrupt 70,000 pages of tax codes by explaining how lobbyists are able to create tax loopholes for big corporations. “Something is rotten in Denmark “. Wealthy people and/or corporations should not be able to weasel their way out of paying the most in taxes. Franklin Roosevelt believed in a 60% tax rate for the wealthy and I agree.

Savage is not a fan of Obama. He thinks Obama imposed his own views on the American people and it sounds like Savage overextended his authority when he wanted something like Obamacare to get passed.
