Don't get me started on the whole guy "manwh*re player", heroine "it's been a long time" trope that is getting forced pretty bad. Or "sex is bad, did I do something wrong" trope either. What is up with heroines being all virginal nuns while guys play the field? Thought "always blame the woman" age had passed. Books like these remind me why I switched to mm. For the love of all that is holy, woman, have some dignity!

"he knows where I live, work and go" (DUH, how did you think those notes got there, genius) "he is going to kill me" ( I wish), "save me, help me, love me" (gag)

..... You can't tell apart ink and blood?.....
