I keep getting glimpses of Emily, but as a whole, I miss her. She’s slowly regaining her character. I definitely feel like we need to get more normal characters back. Ivy, Margaret, or even Jeremy might help. I know it’s unlikely for this book at this point, but I hope the next books keep that in mind.

I don’t understand why people don’t like this one, it’s certainly different, but I love it and how it changed up the formula a little bit.

It’s missing it’s usual spice. They barely talk about anything besides the mystery and the reason most of the previous books have worked is because of the complex characters and good side plots. There are no side plots and Colin and Emily aren’t even having their cute moments. It’s just..missing them.
