Deidre studied him. She tested Hell's powers. Zamon's wings turned pink, and she laughed.
"It is not becoming for a demon," he grumbled.
"You look great in pink."
"The deities," he started, glaring at her. He pushed her a book and opened it. "You are learning about them today."
Cheered by the pink demon, she looked from the unfamiliar writing to him.

"Sorry," she murmured. "I'm Deidre."
"You can call me Zamon. My real name is too hard for you to say."
"Nice to meet you, Zamon."
"There was a time…young girls ran when they saw me," he sounded annoyed. "That time is gone."
"If it helps, I'm scared. Do you want me to run away so you feel better?"
