A sympathetic character of my book is Teddy. He is very brave and determined to get to the bottom of Henry the hippos death. On the other hand, An unsympathetic character of my book is Marge, the head of security at FunJungle. She is very lazy and is always trying to get Teddy in trouble. She even tries to convince everyone that Teddy was responsible for the death of Henry.

In the book I’m reading, the antagonist I would say is the person or people who killed Henry the hippo. There identity is unknown to me but as I read more into the book I hope to learn who it is. I suspect that it is one of the employees at the park because who else could access the hippo’s cage?

In my book Belly Up, the tension of the story made me very fearful and anxious for the main character Teddy. Who ever killed Henry the hippo wants there identity to be a secret and will go so far to even kill a kid! I believe that the author uses unexpected events or revelations to illuminate this tension and to make readers feel these feelings.

This book is told from the 1st person point of view. I know this because Teddy, the main character narrates the book. He doesn’t know anything he cant see and most of the sentences start with I.
