As a Native American history lover (and yOO Native American in my blood) ... I dug into the Maricopa Native Americans.
So, "a single person telling a tale of adventure and grace of the gods" isn't entirely accurate. Little is known about their beliefs besides they weren't heavily religious and most likely believed in Creator. NOW I have to email Medicine Road to see if she knows anything else haha.

I'm a failure and didn't finish this in one day so I'll try and finish it tomorrow.
Pretty good thus far, though I still don't like YA romance and the flashbacks are a bitttt outta place, but yeah, fun!
