The unsympathetic characters in my book are the robbers. They are unsympathetic because they don’t care about the hardworking miller’s feelings or about his daughters. The robbers are unsympathetic because they make decisions that the sympathetic character (the Miller) wouldn’t do.

The three main character’s traits in the short story The Witch Cat are sneaky, independent, and cruel. Some of the characters flaws and weaknesses of Effie’s are not thinking things through and not listening to anybody else.Somethings that motivate Effie are the troubles that he encountered as a kid.Effie was bitten and scratched by a cat and wanted every other person in his town to experience the same.

The tension in the short story Ghost Cap revolves around the Ghost of Old Peter. The author uses anticipation of conflict because the Girl already knows that the ghosts haunts people in her town around midnight. One night the girl stayed out late but, she kept a look out for the ghost to avoid it.

The point of view is third person omniscient. In the beginning of each story, the narrator gives information about each city/state/town/village. One example of this was when the narrator stated, “There once was a small village in Japan,” also in this story the narrator also knows how the ghosts/ monsters appear to some people and not others without even introducing a character.
