He has gotten into a fight with a gang in the furnace and gotten beaten up bad

The setting of my book is in an old house it affects the plot by being scary for the kid inside it. It affects my reading experience by adding more tension in the book

I will recommend the book for teen but not Little kids

Alex and Toby are in a gang together

He is in trouble and probably goes to jail

I inferred that Alex was feeling scared because he got caught stealing
