Mrs. de Winters met a mysterious guest of Mrs. Danvers. The story is pretty boring because there's so much description and the author describes every stray thought the wife has.

The young Mrs. de Winters is learning more about Rebecca and feels inferior to her. This book is really slow-paced so I don't like it.

The young Mrs. de Winter is trying to replace Rebecca's role at Manderly. Mr. de Winter is hiding certain places and rooms that Mrs. Danvers wants to open/reveal to the new Mrs. de Winters. To me, this book is getting more interesting since the mystery is finally beginning to be solved.
