Could not finish. The time and context are best left buried . Nothing wrong with the book , but the characters flaws seem to rub into you. Could not stop hating him from the start of the book and it was difficult going through the whole list of the monstrosity of Stalin. A cuckoo case who ruled a country and would have been a villain in world history if not on the victors side.
