It's interesting how the availability of free things has been adjusting the course of my reading. I had tried for years not to read books in the same series back to back because I felt it diminished my critical assessment of each book and the series as a whole. This may have been erroneous, though. I am definitely digging these series more as I read through them close together. Perhaps series are better when binged.
