Although at first this journey seemed tedious, not so much rewarding, but as I am sluggishly making my way through this jungle of words, a realization hits me, that words do tell stories,not only stories but they are cultures embedded in , and they do generate ideas in a way that can surpass even the greatest books of philosophy.

I know this enterprise of reading OED from cover to cover is doomed from the beginning, but as a bilingual so far it has been immensely helpful in understanding nuances of meanings of them everyday words carry
