I'm having a hard time getting into this one. I like the writing style and the main character seems cool enough (if not very relatable). As soon as I realized it was some kind of weird alt-future story set in a desert inside giant walls I kind of disconnected. I don't like desert stories and I've read too much scifi with the giant wall trope. :/
