All I can say that I am disturbed. He is an awful person and you want him to get captured. I have no idea how anyone could have seen this as a romance novel. Clearly the Humbert is unreliable and from his perspective “she seduces him” but from hers “Can you remember… What was the name of that hotel… the hotel where you raped me?” Only thing I wish other books would have is the funny part of Humbert.
