Just like the old saying, never judge a book by its cover. This book is the case: the cover is somehow not so attractive, even the book title too. But I’m hugely surprised by the excellence of the contents. The book provides the rare and precious views of CCP history from the South China and Hong Kong’s experiences and view. Everyone has read enough about Beijing and Mao. How about Hong Kong’s perspectives?
