Such a fun story. I love the kids' version of the Toastmasters. :-)

The teachers' names were funny. Sadly, I might have to give up my geek card because it took me way to long to figure out why the math teacher's name, Pye, was funny. :-P

Nicely written so far. Excellent, catchy beginning.
