After dropping this for a few months (the slow pace was getting to me) I picked this up again.

This has been a tough book to finish. While the first was a little slow, the novelty and the intrigue kept me hooked. But I have already been on this book for more than a few months and this is my fourth attempt to finish this...

It's not a bad book, just the pacing seems really really off.
