I really liked this book.I found it on my holidays in Vienna and bought it because I had never actually read Whitman and felt uneducated,but also because I had just finished anon-fictional book,so I wanted to break it up a bit.
I really enjoyed it as it gave the whole Civil War period a more "personal"approach and made me understand the context much better,
