This might be the death bell on this book. Hero is a dipshit and no way is he worth any more of my time reading about him.

Not far in and already I don’t like the hero. He left her without saying good-bye, but he also abandon his family because he wasn’t man enough to deal with the pain of losing his mom. So I was trying to get past those points when he apologizes to Lexi for leaving and basically never thinking if her again when he asks her out in a date. Yeah she shut him down, but he takes it as a challenge with no thought of her
