Rabbit Fever was an interesting take on the story, setting it a few hundred years earlier, though the initial build up is not really my type of story, I like the way the story changes through the change in time period.

Follow the Steam Rabbit was a bit weird, and not quite enjoyable. I would have mentioned Alice’s age earlier on in the story, because she is made very smart which leads her to read as older than twelve.

Undercover Alice seems like the type of story I might have liked when I was 12. I was expecting something more gritty noir based on the title

Broken Tethers was just kind of weird and confusing, but not without its moments of charm.

The Aviary was gay and had a very interesting fantasy setting so i enjoyed it immensely. Not very wonderland, but enjoyable nonetheless

Alice in Wilderland was just kindof eh to start with, lots of ‘oh noes im klutzy bc boy’ which is never a fun character trait. It ended up being a fairly sweet story, but felt somewhat out of place in the anthology, due to the lack of fantasy content.

Stories from the ‘you’ perspective can be very hit or miss, but I think Alice and Her Shadow used the perspective well at the beginning, however the ‘stalker fan’ concept just didnt work for me. The resolution was incomplete and just kinda dumb.

White is a Human Construct was actually really really interesting. I didn’t know what to expect but the turns it took were fascinating. Very good.

The Watchmaker’s Ball has an interesting set up, though it does include the literal and unironic line ‘I’m not most girls,’ which is bad. I also don’t see the point of the warning if it is going to be knowingly ignored, nor how Emma knew to warn her. The central premise of the story was very interesting though, and felt true to the source material without needing to be a literal retelling of it.

Alice, Last of the Beating Hearts was a bit too exposition heavy for a supposed short story, and the interpretation of the cheshire cat was very bad, and it made no sense for alice to kiss him. The fight scenes were poorly done and lacked any dramatic tension.
