Oh, wow) 4 outta 5 faves overlap! Harry Potter, Twilight, Magic Bites, and ACOTAR - each of these series were defining for me as well. Have you ever listened to the British HP version read by Stephen Fry? They're incredible, just in case you feel like switching it up. Also, I gotta say Renee Raudman (IA's go-to narrator) grew on me over the years. I'm an audiobook fanatic, so I was willing to try more than once :) Great video, thank you!

And yes, I totally listened to the British HP version for book 1 (my library had it) but I haven't listened to the stephen fry version of the rest. Oh gosh. Is it worth buying TWO sets of audiobooks solely for that...ahhh...don't tempt me :P

FairyPiggles wrote: "I like that :) My little pups always appreciate treats given for just being adorable."LOL - yes. It's hard not to, especially when they look SUPER excited and are all happy-happy :)
I'll subscribe for sure! Are you going to be doing video reviews of all your reviews going forward, or just when you take a notion to?
Peter wrote: "I'll subscribe for sure! Are you going to be doing video reviews of all your reviews going forward, or just when you take a notion to?"It'll have to be a notion. Cause I read waaay too much to do a video review for everything :P I'd have to practically do a video a day in order to do one for every book :P
Miranda wrote: It'll have to be a notion. Cause I read waaay ..."Fair enough. It's refreshing at least to mix things up!
Greg wrote: "Nice video. Good delivery. I tried making one. Think I need better voice projection."It was a lot of fun...and a lot of editing out of "umms" or "ahhhhs"
Peter wrote: "Fair enough. It's refreshing at least to mix things up!"That's kinda what I'm thinking. I'll always be doing bookish things...but not always a straight up book review.
Eric wrote: "Nicely done! Like I said elsewhere, you have good camera presence. Keep making these! :)"Thank you so much. Though, i think Squamish (my dog) was a bit more of a natural :P
It was a lot of fun and I'm hoping to incorporate a variety of books in my channel - including features on self-pubs and independent pubs :)

Your dog was definitely a nice touch. And, that is so awesome to hear! us self-published authors definitely struggle with promotion, especially with all the badly-behaved ones turning both readers and reviewers away with their spamming and other shenanigans.

Yes. I've had my fair share of self published spams. They're awful. And also why I'm currently on a break from accepting new books... wellllll... that and the fact that i really need to catch up with my current ones :p
Your reviews are such fun I am so excited to see you join booktube*smashes-subscribe-button*
