I'm not great with the "gritty" recommendation. Nothing really compares to what you get in ICoS and no character is quite like Emilio. ha!

It's def hit or miss. Kate and a few others DNF'd it. I almost did, but after the Halloween scene (I think around 50%), I couldn't put it down. Loved the sequels too.

I liked the first few C&R books. They're fun. But they're not gritty, nor do they make you want to crawl into a fetal position.

Cami if you're not exhausted from crying and achy from gritting your jaw when you are done witht this book then you are the toughest lady ever. This book is SERIOUSLY awesome and SERIOUSLY tough
This one is not exactly mm but there there is a gay love story in there that is the center of the book, I cried so hard with this book, I literally made myself sick, but it;s oneo f the best books I've read.

So here you are angsty goodness, these WILL make you SOB.
