I’m so glad my friend, Zakk, who served in the Marines and in Iraq, honorably discharged after his service, asked that I read three of his favorite books. I started with this one and am having great difficulties with pausing it for any amount of time to complete my daily and regular responsibilities or tend to my daughters in any way. This book has really sucked me into a part of WWII history I know little about.
