I so want to love this book, but I don't. I'm a winter swimmer and to have a book starting with the water temp, which I am also obsessed by was a good start, but the style seems so forced, so clever and witty, overly so. And why did I have to waste a chapter of my life reading about an Estate Agent at a dinner party full of people with trendy, or odd names? Anyway, I haven't given up, and it's slightly better now.
