I like Violet's witty narrative. She's not afraid to say what she means, even if it means being honest with herself. I really like her two roommates. They are fun and unapologetic about who they are. At times Violet's mopey behavior and her pinning away for her engaged best friend can get tedious. Although I suppose it's to fully show how much she's deeply in love with Gabe and how hurt she is with the engagement.
