It’s annoying af that the teaser at the end of the last novel still hasn’t happened after a quarter of the book. That makes it so hard for me to concentrate on the stuff that is actually happening, especially as it is a lot of … mental health crisis and depressing dialogues? I’m having a really hard time finding my way into this story 😐

Yay, the stuff from the preview is finally happening and there’s some action and I’m still not nearly as into this novel as I hoped I’d be, but things might actually work out

Like, I get that Hail‘s having problems. It’s actually great that she doesn’t just bounce back from everything that’s happened but instead has to deal with all the shit and probably has something along the lines of PTSD, survivor‘s guilt etc but that and the „I‘m the empress, it’s my job to keep everyone alive and I gotta do it all on my own“ stuff is getting exhausting 🙈
