This is seriously good. A few strange world-building choices, e.g. continents and planets named after ancient Greek cities when Earth is apparently so far in the past some people aren't sure it ever existed, but nothing too terribly disruptive.

Why are there "klaxons and alarms" on a fully automated alien base patrolled only by drones? "Let's make sure the human invaders know we've got our knickers in a twist." Other than that, still good!
